Default mount -v cifs problem in AIX 5.3

Hi,

after install of the following Filesets:

bos.cifs_fs.rte 5.3.0.10 APPLIED Runtime for SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.smit 5.3.0.0 COMMITTED SMIT Interface for
SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.rte 5.3.0.10 APPLIED Runtime for SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.smit 5.3.0.0 COMMITTED SMIT Interface for
SMBFS
(and reboot after install)

I try to mount the following:

root# mount -v cifs -n 172.24.x.x/user/password -o
uid=1311,gid=300,fmode=755
<sharename> /mountpoint

I get the following error message:

There was an error connecting the share or the server.
Make sure the lsdev command shows that device nsmb0 is in
the Available state. Also make sure that the share name,
user name and password are accurate.

The nsmb0 device is available and the User, Password and sharename are
correct too.
It works if I map the share to my desktop PC.

I know I did that with the server running on AIX 5.2 before, but now
running AIX 5.3 it is not working anymore.

Any ideas??

TIA
Axel
