Iam new to this vast world of AIX I need to find some good books in the
same, can any1 suggest me the book for a beginner. If any one from
India /chennai pls help me out

They are the best ones available...

The AIX Survival Guide is brilliant but hasn't kept up to date.

For developers to get a better understanding of AIX the internals books
(which I can put details on here for if you want) are very
thorough, but stop at 4.3.3. It is worth noting that this isn't that much
of an issue as things internally haven't changed much conceptually since
4.3.3 (apart from the 64-bit executable format.....).

The Redbooks are very good. If you have any more specific requirements
just reply and I will try to direct you.
