IBM e(logo)server Certification Study Guide - pSeries AIX System Administration IBM e(logo)server Certification Study Guide - pSeries AIX System Support For development look at the AIX 5L Porting Guide on www.redbooks.ibm.com and on Vervante. and AIX 5L Administration by Randal K. Michael The AIX Survival Guide is brilliant but hasn't kept up to date. For developers to get a better understanding of AIX the internals books (which I can put details on here for if you want) are very thorough, but stop at 4.3.3. It is worth noting that this isn't that much of an issue as things internally haven't changed much conceptually since 4.3.3 (apart from the 64-bit executable format.....). The Redbooks are very good. If you have any more specific requirements just reply and I will try to direct you. Cheers Colin Colin Renouf "AIX is user friendly. It's just choosy who its friends are." |
