| Hi, We applied the IY59082 recently, after that, we cannot get WLM information from nmon, (command line and batch). The nmon works on our AIX servers for years, it also provides the WLM information correctly before we applied above patch. we have "export NMONAIX=5.2.0.0" in our environment, and there is no error when run "lslpp -Lcq bos.?p": #lslpp -Lcq bos.?p bos.mp:bos.mp:5.2.0.54: : :A:F:Base Operating System Multiprocessor Runtime: : : : : : :0:0: bos.up:bos.up:5.2.0.54: : :A:F:Base Operating System Uniprocessor Runtime: : : : : : :0:0: The above issue is found on numbers of AIX 52 server once we apply the IY59082, and AIX 5.2 ML05 (which include IY59082). But the AIX topas and wlmstat are still be able to display the correct WLM information. Is there anyone experieced the same problem? Thanks in advance ... |

Check for the latest version of nmon. -- Doing AIX support was the most monty-pythonesque activity available at the time. Eagerly awaiting my thin chocolat mint. |

| Thanks for your reply. I did check the new release from IBM site, but it's still nmon9a for all AIX version, here is the link from IBM: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork...cles/nmon.html I don't know if there are other way to find the update (besides the subscription). |

| Young, the developer of nmon, Nigel Griffiths has released a new version , 10, You can ask him for the new version of nmon. I had trouble with the new Pseries , P520 and so on, in nmon9 but Nigel has a new beta version which works fine! cheers Henry T. |

| Hi Henry, Which AIX version and ML are you running on? Are you using AIX WLM? | It's because the version of WLM got upgraded to version 3 during the patch installation and ML05 upgrade. And this new WLM version is not backward compatible with WLM version 2 (prior AIX 52 ML04) and version 1 (AIX 5.1). IBM support is working on a fix to resolve this issue. |
