Quick question ;o) Do you know if there are any (free) IBM options that
allow ODBC support? We are starting work on a project and need to send
data to and from JDE to a MS SQL Server. Oracle supports connecting to
a MS SQL Server through heterogeneous services, which really just allow
the Oracle DB to use ODBC. This is obviously native on wintel boxes,
but I don't know what kind of ODBC support there is on AIX. Any
ideas? I know we can buy some ODBC data providers for unix but these
seem costly to get from reputable vendors and I was wondering if there
is a free Open Source/IBM tool
