Default Oracle for AIX/AIX SP: differences, how to cope with them?

Hello,
we have recently bought new machines and transferred Oracle databases
from AIX SP machines to (normal) AIX (pSeries) machines.
Last things we were to transfer was development environment
(which includes Cobol/Procobol programs).
In the new environment AIX on pSeries Oracle for AIX (non for AIX SP)
is installed, but -as you know better than I- several changes are between
Oracle for AIX and Oracle for AIX SP, e.g. libraries in $ORACLE_HOME/lib.
Unfortunately these specific Oracle for AIX SP libraries are used during
compilation. Of course, we will discuss and check against the real need
for those libraries. But in the meantime I would like to detail my
knowledge about this situation.

My question now is:
- What shall we do to transfer development from SP to pSeries machines as
Oracle software is concerned?
- Can, may or shouldn't I force Oracle for AIX SP installation on pSeries
(or other non-SP standalone machine)?
- What behaviour may I expect on client side, development environment and
server side (on the db) when using Oracle software for AIX SP on non-SP
machine?

Thank you very much for any hint.
Best regards,
Igor
