| Hey all, I'm trying to get some decent SNMP monitoring setup on some new AIX 5.2 boxes here. I'd like to install xmservd, which I believe comes in the perfagent.server fileset, which is in turn part of the "Performance Aide for AIX (PAIDE)." I've scoured all the CD's that came with my machine, but I can't find that fileset anyhere -- just the perfagent.tools fileset, which doesn't help me any. Where can I find this fileset? On a related note, is there a good way to figure out which fileset (whether installed on my system or now) contains a particular program? I know you can use "lslpp -f" to list the files in a fileset, but I want to go the other direction. I had a heck of a time figuring out which fileset contained xmservd. -- Ben "Obi-Wan" Hollingsworth obiwan@jedi.com The stuff of earth competes for the allegiance I owe only to the Giver of all good things, so if I stand, let me stand on the promise that You will pull me through. -- Rich Mullins ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

I don't think they're on the media that come with the machine. -- #include <disclaimer.std> /* I don't speak for IBM ... */ /* Heck, I don't even speak for myself */ /* Don't believe me ?
