You need at least PSSP 3.5 for AIX 5.2.

thanks.
From what I have read on Ibm Web, it is not possible to migrate from
3.1 (or 3.1.x) to 3.5 in one step.
Migration path from 3.1.1 to 3.4 is possible, on AIX 4.3.3
Migration from 3.2 or 3.4 to 3.5 is possible with migration to AIX 5.2.
Could you confirm?

That's what I remember hearing, too.

I'm afraid I can't confirm because I retired the SP nodes (AIX 4.3.3 and
PSSP 3.1) a few weeks ago, and don't have newer PSSP than 3.1.

I'm sure that a few people here has done a PSSP 3.1/4.3.3 upgrade to
PSSP 3.5/5.2. I think I remember seeing a few posts in last few months
talking about that PSSP upgrade. Maybe check Google archives?

Bertrand,
PSSP 3.5 will NOT run on AIX433, so first go to PSSP3.4, then AIX to
5.2. and then PSSP 3.5
Always the CWS on the highest level in the SP cluster.
Maybe you should migrate to CSM, there is a nice transition guide
available
