| hello group, I'm currently evaluating the (Berkeley) Quota system AIX 5.2. It somehow seems to work, but ... I couldn't find an obvious solution for the following (not-so-exotic) task: How to define a common limit for the vast majority of users, whereas a few "power users" should get a bit more than that ? As I understand the "group" limit refers to the accumulated space of all users in a group, not to a per-user default. I would find it rather annoying to define each user's limit separately, and to repeat that task whenever a new account is created. Is that possible or do I have to accept the quota system as being another semi-finished idea ? |
