Just for the record, I *think* I found the function on one of these LEDs. Contry to what I implied originally, one of these LEDs is visable even when the plastic door is in place, so you can't see the LCD display, the CD, tape drive etc. One LED (I think it's top left) blinks at about 1 Hz, indicating power is on the machine. Whilst the LCD will normally displace "OK" in such circumstances, the LED is visable even when the door is in place so the LCD display covered. Dr. David Kirkby, PhD. |
