Default RS/6000 H70 48VDC power supplies

Hi,

does anyone of You know if one is able to mix one AC and one DC power
supply in the RS/6000?

In the system manual there's an extra chapter on the 48V PSU but no
mentioning of if mixing the PSU types is supported (probably not) or
works (If I just knew...)

At the moment, there's some of these availabe on Ebay
(http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-Modular-48v-...QQcmdZViewItem)
and I find the idea of putting it onto my 48V power line quite
interesting; in theory I could also buy a second 48V power converter,
but I'd like to wait with this for some time.

So, has anybody tried this?
Did it 'emit smoke and smell of burning'?

Regards,
Florian

After having posted, my eyes came onto the line "A system with two
power supplies can not have both AC and DC power supplies in the same
unit." in the auction text, so I have to admit I should read more
carefully. Still I just feel like trying it out
