Default SAN Volume Controller - SDD or MPIO?
Hello,

we are preparing to test IBM San Volume Controller with some AIX
setups. I read that both, SDD and MPIO/SDDPCM is supported as AIX
driver software. The latest SVC Redbook anyway, only mentions SDD. Can
you share any experience or suggestions which Software to use?

Hello Joachim,

the choise between SDD and SDDPCM is dependant. Each one support
differents features (boot SAN or not, load balancing algorithm, HACMP
with persistent reservation policies, etc)
