Default sapr3 and hacmp

Afternoon, all. I encountered a scenario during an hacmp fail over
test that I'd like some feedback on. During the failover test hacmp
shuts down sap/r3 with script. Well, this caused a HUGE core dump and
ultimately caused the disks I/O to jump to 103% busy!! When the
failover was completed the disk I/o went back to normal. I checked
the parameters that SAP recommends for AIX and they are as SAP
suggests. Any questions, comments, feedback appreciated.

thanks

Probably best to instrument that shell script and also find out what
core dumped.

You might also like to ask this in the Yahoo HACMP Group
(http;//groups.yahoo.com/group/hacmp).
