| Is there a script language API for AIX? Looking for something like the Tcl twapi package for Windows - http://twapi.sourceforge.net/ Languages I can use are Perl, Tcl, Python. Don't really want to parse results from native AIX commands. Thanks. |

Are you saying that you have tried perl and it does not do what you want ? or are you completly new to AIX and after some pointers ? Perl is part of the stdinstall of AIX and Python and Tcl are both also freely available for AIX and are included on the aixtoolbox .. so is perl in rpm format .. http://www-03.ibm.com/servers/aix/pr.../download.html HTH Mark Taylor |
