Hello,

I have a newly installed AIX 6.1 system. We use NIS and rsh as part
of our Quality Assurance testing, and rsh is failing with "Who are
you?"

This appears to be an issue related to:

IZ14916: R-COMMAND DOESN'T WORK FOR NIS USERS

The listed solution is:

Problem conclusion
Assign more privs to getpwuid api so that it won't
have any permission deny error when querying nis server.

Can anyone help me understand the "conclusion". I honestly have no
idea how to "Assign more privs to getpwuid api".

Any help is greatly appreciated!
