Default SSA D40 hardware fit into a standard server rack?
Does anyone know if the SSA D40 disk drawer will fit into a standard
server rack - for instance like a Compaq rack? Maybe it will fit, but
is there some other detail about that drawer that shuold make me NOT
want to install it as such?

I don't see why not, the D40 is the rack version of the T40, so should
fit any standard racking system. We have one here in a 19inch IBM rack
and we have some other kit in a Compaq rack
