Default Time jumps on TZ change

Hi

I rebooted one of my RS/6000 AIX 5 servers as I had to change the TZ
variable due to daylight saving ending on a different date than usual.

I changed my TZ in /etc/environment from
TZ=EET-10EETDT+11:00,M10.5.0,M3.5.0 to
TZ=EET-10EETDT,M10.5.0,M4.1.0 as per the IBM Technote advice. I removed
the +11.00
offset as I didn't know why that was in there. The IBM Technotes say
that AIX will adjust
the time by default ff DT is enabled.

Then I rebooted the server and when it came back up the system time had
jumped forward 22hrs! Does anyone know why this might have happened?

Thanks
Simon
