| Hi, i have a problem with my p630 (AIX5.2). TTY0's permission will changed to 600 everytime we did a reboot. I had to manually change it to 666 when the server is up. I really don't know what went wrong. I really appreciate any comment on this. Rgds |

If you have a getty running on the tty (or the console if tty0 is the console) then these permissions are correct to prevent others from being able to read from the tty during the login process.
