Does anyone know if it is even posible to use NIM with Secure Shell
(ssh)? We have AUX 4.3 and we cant figure it out. Any suggestions are
appreciated.

You can use ssl with aix 5.3, take a look at the manuals for aix 5.3
but it won't work with earlier versions. Find the installation and
reference guide for 5.3 and search for nimsh.

I just found out that you can use nimsh with 52ml7, that is the
earliest verison of aix that nim can handle a client at and use ssl.

Unfortunately, nimsh only replaces the rsh part of the NIM
communication. There is still NFS used to access the repositories or
for mksysb.
