Hi all,

I want to find where LDAP Cache Manager and Volume Manager are
installed.

lslpp -l | grep ldap
ldap.client.adt 5.2.0.0 COMMITTED Directory Client SDK
ldap.client.rte 5.2.0.0 COMMITTED Directory Client
Runtime (No
ldap.max_crypto_client.adt
ldap.max_crypto_client.rte

Does this mean Cache Manager is not installed ?

I don't know it AIX has a ldap_cachemgr. I only know that from Solaris.
On Solaris it's the LDAP client daemon. On AIX the LDAP client daemon
is called "secldapclntd" (SECurity LDAP CLieNT Daemon). It's in
ldap.client.rte IIRC. You configure it with the mksecldap command
(ldapclient on Solaris).

Btw, where could I find the executables/configuration files for Logical
Volume Manager?

Of course, mine is 5.3, but the "lslpp -f bos.rte.lvm" works the same.
The "config files" are stored in the ODM. You will need to get cheesy
with the commands that extract info from it:
