Where can I find "xmessage" for AIX 5.2?

I don't know if there is an lpp containing the binary for
AIX 5.2 but you can find the source on e.g.:
http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/mirrors/N...rams/xmessage/

run
$ xmkmf
$ make
you probably need X11.adt.motif, X11.adt.imake and X11.samples.lib.core

if you need a compiled binary contact me; i can send you one.

xmkmf does not exist on my system..

Can you compile it for me?

/usr/bin/X11/xmkmf, in X11.adt.imake (AIX 5.2). Install that fileset.
