3ware question

Hi,
I read your - older - article on 3ware raid solutions with unix systems.

I happened to get one of these 3ware palisade 400 storage items,
brandnew, no software, no disks,
on a low budget. I managed so far to get disks being recognized, and to
get on the system with
the web interface.
Now I'm trying to gather information of any kind, drivers, freebsd
archives, firmware, links,
whatever. Anything compatible that could be placed on the Compact Flash
Disk the system boots from would
be helpful aswell.
And I am still trying to find out why this product had been cancelled,
so if it can still be used as a reliable
storage device.

As the finding of information is a tough job, I wondered whether you
might be able to help.
Our maybe you have recommendations on where I should place such an inquiry.
Hopefully, I am not the only user of such a system ...
