| Hi, Some of my graph/number crunching software needs more than 1 Gb of memory, but they get a memory exhausted error. The box (amd64, openbsd-current) has 1 Gb of RAM and plenty of swapspace on disk, though. Setting the rlimit datasize to infinity results in a maxdatasize of one Gb. Looking through the sources <machine/vmparam.h> shows that the MAXDSIZE is hardcoded to 1 Gb. Changing that gives an integer overflow warning. Is it possible to have a program use more than 1 Gb on amd64? Thanks in advance, Matthias |
