i do not run pppoe at all, sorry.

on other note: in japan there are "flets services" which is basically
PPPoE on L2TP on something. openbsd pppoe(4) fails to negotiate
against the NTT PPPoE servers. those who are in japan needs to debug
it quickly.
if i remember correctly, openbsd sends "LCP close" right after
authentication phase finishes. i suspect there's some glitches in
state machine.
