| -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Can someone who has already obtained all the new ISOs please post a listing of the base directory of each disc? Reason: I've downloaded the disc 1 ISO because it's bootable. But all the other discs don't need to be bootable, and in fact can be recreated from my existing rsynced downloaded repository. So I may as well save bandwidth by sorting through and then burning the existing files instead of downloading all the ISOs. I just downloaded the damn things outright. What a waste. When you posted that I didn't have them yet, and when I did get them later I forgot, and my newsreader only shows unread posts. I thought about you this morning (uh, evening your time? Anyway, disc 2 uses a different isolinux configuration and initrd image, "rescue.img", which is not in the regular FTP tree. -- /dev/rob0 - preferred_email=i$((28*28+28))@softhome.net or put "not-spam" or "/dev/rob0" in Subject header to reply |

While 256K DSL isn't the slowest connection available, downloading all four ISOs took me an extra couple of days, and carved a hefty chunk from my monthly 3G/3G account. But it's near the end of the month anyhow. > Anyway, disc 2 uses a different isolinux configuration and initrd > image, "rescue.img", which is not in the regular FTP tree. I suspected that was the case (it's the same with 9.X), but wasn't really fussed. - -- George Georgakis geegATtripleg_net_au http://www.tripleg.net.au/ SlackBuild Central - http://slackpack.tripleg.net.au/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.8 for non-commercial use <http://www.pgp.com> iQA/AwUBQNx9xElp3nJf7PixEQIuNwCgmbLTkdGEM3ytngzMnjHU7p m0DiMAniAa pQbpic2fEsjzuz/ulPERefL8 =qP/Q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
