Also the udev doesn't always does it's job. May be I am old but to me /dev/* seem to work the best when compared to devfs or udev. On top of that 2.4.26 is giving me faster boot time and quicker interactive performace which ofcourse is very subjective. I think for now I will stick with 2.4.26. *ASBESTOS SUIT ON* :-) Ta Sree |
