| I wiped my OS hard drive on my fileserver today, and replaced Knoppix with Slackware. I got everything working again, including my hardware RAID, but I have one little problem. When I boot up, my RAID drive is not mounted, although it is in fstab. I had to manually add: '/sbin/modprobe hptraid' to my rc.modules, so I think the problem comes down to the fact that my RAID is detected by rc.modules after the contents of fstab are mounted. If I manually run 'mount /mnt/storage' (my RAID), it works just fine, so I believe that fstab is fine, and I can then browse and share the files. My question is: Where should I add a line to mount this during boot? I'm not that knowlegdable about the boot scripts. rc.M, perhaps? What line should I add when I find out where to add it? 'mount -a'? Thanks for the help, Shawn |
