I am looking to setup my own server and co-locate it, but I find cpanel
EXTREMELY useful and they don't have a slackware package. So I was
wondering if anyone else has found something that works like cpanel for
slackware or even got cpanel to work on slackware?

You might want to take a look at WebMin. It's been around awhile,
installs easily on a slack system. and is written in PERL with lots of
third-party modules.

I don't know whether it will work on slackware but VishwaKarma[0] is a
free Webhosting control panel for GNU/Linux systems. I came across it
this morning.
