| Hi there I am trying to make a swap from windows to linux on my laptop. And i have made allmost everyting work perfect. I have sniffed on one or two linux distros earlier, and thought i have a go at slackware this time. But when i tried to set up my mail account i ran into a strange problem. All the buttons in Mozilla mail toolbar are disabled exept from the "new message" button. I run Slackware 9.1 with gnome (and i am logged in as user). Anybody have any idea why i get this behaviour? And, yes, i am allmost a newbie Aslak |

The only button enabled is the "compose" button. So i can compose a message, but not recieve..... Aslak |

I can get it in the same state with only the Compose buttom enabled, and then clicking in that window causes the other buttons to become activated. If I bring up mozilla using an account that has not been configured for email, I get two buttons that are enabled, the Compose and Stop buttons. - Kurt |
