You mean running any sort of Slackware off of floppy? Not very likely. If so, it'd have been so wildly trimmed that it would hardly look like Slackware any more. You mean any sort of firewall that runs off floppy? Freshmeat and Google will turn up tons of information, I'm sure. Personally, I like floppyfw (http://www.zelow.no/floppyfw), because it's philosophically much like Slackware (KISS). - --keith - -- kkeller-mmmspam@wombat.san-francisco.ca.us (try just my userid to email me) AOLSFAQ=http://wombat.san-francisco.ca.us/cgi-bin/fom -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAj9WUvcACgkQhVcNCxZ5ID9fuACeLXrjhb0e9H 5XSZWDwPXXFASo 4XcAn07fXr5DAfAZmkgg27RP1Os5pnni =XPif -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Up until I recently when I switched to a wireless capable router, I used Freesco for almost three years. It's a Slackware 3.9 based router that runs off a floppy withTONS of add-on's if you care to use them. Freesco is what pointed me toward using Slackware as my now main OS. http://www.freescosoft.com |
