I have always installed the stock Gnome, and then just run the Dropline installer. Works great. It doesn't get any better than this. -- If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much space. You are asked to refrain from the use of pgp in the future. Thank you. cordially, as always, rm |

It doesn't get any better than this. Take care if you are printing by lprng. dropline silently kills lprng by "updating" to cups. Then you have no working printing system. (At least that happened to me, when I used dropline about a year ago) This way of treating the sys admin is not very linuxish and even less slackish... Good luck Franz -- Franz M. Tgz is really very easy, usually just "installpkg /path/to/package.tgz". -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/5cyfseVxKm0DPWERAvgmAJ9RYdhNs/IPa+ZHd/ITq/GJP39EvgCgpuHu NWnBguuTtv5zy7trzYoGdoc= =LM/b -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Pgp is also included but it is inappropriate to use pgp inline in a usenet discussion forum. Please refrain from the use of pgp unless it is warranted. cordially, as always, rm |
