| The gnome-panel 2.4.0 is currently fubarred - drawers in autohide panels just don't work (annoyingly, whenever the panel is revealed, drawer automatically open up, and clicking on one their contents, if any, does not work.) How can we tell Mr. Volkerding to make sure that fix for this is put in place for Slackware 9.1? I understand that Mandrake has such a fix, and, quite frankly, Slackware is, and should remain, far superior. |

Email him the problem and be specific with the traces / error codes. if you have to, cut and paste in the xfree log as well (but warn him in the subject line) and even better if possible: use "strace -o /home/my_user_name/xfree.strace", then use "cat /home/my_user/xfree.strace | grep ENO > /home/my_user/xfree.strace.eno" to cut it down to only errors. There are so many things he could use as info. BTW, his email is "Patrick J. Volkerding" <volkerdi@slackware.com> -- " ... and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights ... I don't think he would want it posted here for spambots to gather. -- Confucius: He who play in root, eventually kill tree.
