Default Gnome, SlackBuild, and Slackware-Current and RSS reader

Hi,

The latest Akregator in Slack-Current acts up. DL first group it skips
over and red x's 98% of the RSS sites in that group.

2nd group of RSS sites and on from there works alright, does not have
the problem that the 1st to be downloaded group does.

I'm unaware if this is an Akregator specific/only issue and/or why it
is so for me. I've always used the official Slackware-current
Akregator (not tried my own compile of Akregator, actually it's the
PIM package in KDE)

Anyways, Liferea ('nuther RSS reader) works great for me on the latest Centos.

But it requires GTK and/or Gnome something or other.

I went searching for a SlackBuild script for/to_do with Gnome and Slackware-
current. (didn't find anything).

It appears that Freerock Gnome is built for Slackware 10.2

So far, I've been waiting for Slackware 11 (I'd just update current,
change the pkg that has to do with version from current to Slack 11 and
then hang with 11 on this box for a while) (perhaps at that point, put
current on another box)

Given the likelihood that Freerock Gnome would be built for Slack 11.

I'd run the Liferea from within KDE but I think it needs something
Gnome library.

A fix for the Akregator problem, anyone? And/or a build script for Gnome
and/or the specific libraries (and what are the libraries) that I need to
run Liferea on Slack current?
