I assume you mean Xft2/fontconfig, in which case add this to local.conf
or your ~/.fonts.conf:

<match target="pattern">
<test name="weight" compare="less">
<const>demibold</const>
</test>
<edit name="antialias" mode="assign">
<bool>false</bool>
</edit>
</match>

If you meant the obsolete Xft1, you'd want something like this in
XftConfig (untested!):

match
all weight < bold
edit antialias = false;
