| I cannot access any of my devices. The only device I can access is the Hard Disk which Slackware is installed on. All the devices I have tried including my flash drive, my DVD ROM drive, and my phone I cannot get into. I have tried to access them on KDE, XFCE, Fluxbox & Blackbox & all of them say the same thing. I am logged in as root, so I should have access to them. This has not happened on other OSs. How do I get access the Devices? Here is the message that comes up when I try to access them; A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume"member"Mount"er ror name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal") Any help would be great, Thanks |
