Default Kernel vs. NVIDIA-modules

Hi,

After installing nvidia module, I recompiled my 2.6.11.10 kernel. As
expected, nvidia module is gone now.

Q: what's a simple and elegant solution to circumvent this? Simply reinstall
nvidia module after each kernel recompilation?

Thanks,

That's the only way I know of, unfortunately.

If you use only 1 kernel, that's the only way
If you want to use 2 or more kernels without reinstalling the nvidi
driver you have solutions. But for a new compiled kernel you have t
install the nvidia driver again.....
