| -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 i got a logitech navigator usb keyboard, and slackware 9.1. my problem is: the keyboard lights dont work ok. scroll lock doesn't work at all, caps and num lock lights dont work some times. another thing: how can i get the extra keys on the keyboard working? I tried > xev, and some keys return a right-mouseclick. it does work in windows xp. can't help you with your leds, but to get your extra keys working, you need to do the following: find the keycodes they return with xev, then create a ..Xmodmap file in which you assign keysyms to those keys. in principle, keysyms of Fxx are ok: keycode <blah> = F13 etc. then you can use those keysyms in any app that allows you to customise keys, or in a keygrabber such as bbkeys to assign functions to the keys. -- Joost Kremers since when is vi an editor? a discussion on vi belongs in comp.tools.unusable or something... ;-) |

But the problem is: most keys return mouseclicks, and not key presses (so key codes). It's strange, but could anyone help me?
