I've been looking ard for good reference on setting up network printers
on slackware. Have search the web but could not find any good reference
especially for slack. can anyone show me a direction or anything.

Check root's mail after installation. Patrick recommends apsfilter.

I recommend apsfilter as well. Cups still seems.... Problematic to me..
