Ripley's Believe it or Not, or some clone, reported a kid
that made 13 spelling errors in a 5-letter word.

He used 8 of the wrong letters, and none of the right ones.

The header for the article was "Yowzitch," I believe.

Well, it's not actually released yet. Usually we get discs to the
subscribers about 2 weeks after the net release (unlike other distros we
don't sit on it for a month to try to force people to buy it).

We certainly appreciate the people who support us through subscriptions,
and a lot of them tell me that they download it anyway but are buying the
sub to help us out. Slackware users can be some really cool people.

be able to set up a news server? And you've yet to answer the
question: why would Slackware users need Yet Another Slackware
newsgroup? If you're trying to persuade people to use your site,
you need to provide something to compel us to do so; we're not

Also, the "Slackware linux" logo on your website is remarkably similar to
the original on the official Slackware website. No indication that
permission was give to use it and it's not used as a link to the Slackware
website.

I don't see anything wrong with having a website about Slackware; there
are many websites about MS Windows. But imo you should not be using
copyrighted material without permission and you should have a disclaimer
on your website. And, since you are selling advertising, a policy to
contribute a percentage to the Slackware project would be appropriate.
