But other people are simply feeding ''Tom'', attempting a debate instead of simply countering his awful advice. It is also considered best practice to correct bad advice, get in a funny insult against ''Tom'', and post without attempting to debate ''Tom'' directly. --keith -- kkeller-usenet@wombat.san-francisco.ca.us (try just my userid to email me) AOLSFAQ=http://www.therockgarden.ca/aolsfaq.txt see X- headers for PGP signature information |

You are of course correct, I do try to limit myself to one reply to Tom, I do reply to others who may comment in the same thread however. I will try very hard to limit myself to one reply to Tom's initial post on whatever form of idiocy he is spouting in each thread. The great temptation comes from his propensity to act like a very big, very slow, and probably tasty, fish in a barrel. My delay in replying is due to the fact that unlike Tom My computer only has one keyboard and monitor, but more than one user, I had to wait my turn to be "an ordinary user" let alone root. Others are Indeed as it should be pointed out he only 2 1/2 months ago claimed he was very new to all this so n00bies should hardly want to listen to advice from a netkook like that -- Cheers Res mysql> update auth set Framed-IP-Address='127.0.0.127' where user= 'troll'; |
