The name Slackware was given to Pat by the Church of the Subgenious, a tongue-in-cheek "religion" that deifies "Slack". From my limited knowledge of them they basically are a spoof on other religions and are loosely organized if at all. Best bet is to ask them. Their "leader" I guess you would say is Bob Dobbs (the smiling pipe-smoking head). He can give you more info on that. - -- It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, Than for a man to hear the song of fools.
