| I'm setting up 4 computers for a non-profit that has these machines set-up for general public use. I've created a user here on my laptop at home with XFCE and have customized it to only allow people to use a few things on it (firefox, gaim, games, open office) and would like this config to be the default when the machine boots up. My question is, how do i take the xfce i have set up here, and make it the default desktop config when these puppies boot up? |

Xfce stores its settings and such in directories of $HOME/.config, and some local menu entries are generated from $HOME/.local RW |

Had already tried to copy those over, but didn't take into account the permissions after moving it. Figured that out and everything is OK. |

If you put the XFCE configuration files in the right places in /etc/skel, they should be installed every time you create a new user. -- Chick Tower For e-mail: aols . sent . towerboy AT xoxy . net |
