| Yesterday evening my kdm have broke, so my user list has disappeared ( even in kcontrol config panel. I don't know how it happens & how fix it. I use kde 3.4@slackware10.1 I also have problem with gnomemeeting. It gives me: "(gnomemeeting:7448): GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (1000)" at console and in window: "An error has happened in the configuration backend. Maybe your kdmrc file is screwed. Backup /opt/kde/share/config/kdm/kdmrc and then as root run this command 'genkdmconf'. This will build a new kdmrc from scratch. -- Thomas O.
