| Minor problem I believe, since someone would have mentioned this long ago (Right?)... I would have last weekend, but I opted not to build vim 6.3 and instead ended up drinking lots of beer whilst watching a nascar race. Anyway, the vim 6.3 build scripts call: --> 'tar xjvf $CWD/vim-$VIMVER-lang.tar.bz2' ^^^ The file supplied in the */source/ap/vim tree is: --> 'vim-6.3-lang.tar.gz' ^^ Oops... The build will never see the contents. If Pat used these scripts to create the vim 6.3 binaries, non-english speaking folks needing proper or particular translations might notice a few directories missing in /usr/share/vim/vim63/lang/. Since Slack 10.0 is now official, I'd guess this is going to end up on the source Cd's (Saw a post by someone mentioning that the Cds are probably ready for mass production?). Not good. And yes, emailed Pat this morning. Max -- This is Linux country my good man, on a quiet night you can hear the sound of Windows rebooting. |
