| I'm a Slack noob and have run into a little problem. My previous distro was SuSE 9.0 and CUPS installs with aboutta gajillion printer drivers, including a set for Samsung lasers. I have a Samsung ML-1440, it's a nice little printer and I am not ready to replace it. Now as I am sure most of you have noticed, CUPS in Slack comes with a much smaller set of printer drivers. My question, how do I get the full on CUPS collection of printers like SuSE, Red Hat, etc. come with? Or is there a simpler way? Thanks in advance. Sam |

If there is more than one driver for your printer then you might need to try a couple before you get the right one. http://www.linuxprinting.org/cups-doc.html -- Confucius: He who play in root, eventually kill tree.
