mmm... i doubt it. this talks about resizing or moving the Terminal window,
but what i mean is that Terminal becomes slow in displaying
characters. it's especially obvious with screen: i usually have four
instances of mutt running in a screen session in Terminal (or mrxvt ;-) and
switching from one to the other (with C-a C-a) is usually instantaneous,
but with time, it gets slower and slower in Terminal, until you can almost
see the characters being printed one by one...

i've just started Terminal again, and will keep it running for a few days
to see what happens. i'll also check again tomorrow at work, to see if i
had composite on or off (don't remember, i did play with it today.)
