| Hello group :-) It seems while cleansing my pan I accidentally released a few posts I once wrote, some very old, that had been, for any reason, sleeping in the 'not-sent' pot. Hence those apparently without head and tail posts that just appeared. Oh well, though, some people here may even say these're not much more headless and bubble black than others ;D) |

I cleaned out my .Pan directory just yesterday and it was sprinkled with stuff that never quite made it to the outer world. Let's pray for version 1.0 :-) > Hence those apparently without head and tail posts > that just appeared. That's nothing compared to the guy over on a.r.k who just responded to a 6-month old post with something really witty, along the lines of "go to hell, moron!" -- mark south: world citizen, net denizen echo znexfbhgu2000@lnubb.pb.hx|tr a-z n-za-m "Take it? It annoys me, too, that Pan doesn't automatically send replies, or doesn't at least ask me if I would like to do so when I connect, such as Thunderbird does for e-mail. -- Chick Tower For e-mail: aols . sent . towerboy AT xoxy . net |

Let's pray for version > 1.0 :-) Well, as the quite close to 1.0 version I run, 0.14.90-CVS from last week or so it's not totally ready yet -- and if you feel like going CVS too, mind that there was a change of format in some files that'll make you have to repair your group/post/dirs-histories -- >> Hence those apparently without head and tail posts >> that just appeared. > > That's nothing compared to the guy over on a.r.k who just responded to a > 6-month old post with something really witty, along the lines of "go to > hell, moron!" He's recently given several helpful replies to queries, and completely failed to insult the poster in the process. Must be Alzheimer's. ARK does have a DanK, BTW. He has the manners of (the former) DanC and the technical expertise of AC. If you can believe it! -- mark south: world citizen, net denizen echo znexfbhgu2000@lnubb.pb.hx|tr a-z n-za-m "Take it? I've always been a nice guy, just frequently misunderstood... I've never set foot in ARK, BTW, neither the NG or the state. -- If you're not on the edge, you're taking up too much space. You'd like a.r.k, I can't speak to the state. -- mark south: world citizen, net denizen echo znexfbhgu2000@lnubb.pb.hx|tr a-z n-za-m "Take it? I can't even parse it!" - Kibo, in ARK |
