 alsa - too silent hi! i've recently installed gentoo. everything is ok, exept of alsa-1.0.3. it's installed correctly, alsamixer knobs are set on max values, but sound is too quiet. i've used VT8233/A/8235 AC97 Audio Controller. all setting on this card must be good because this card was playing good loud sounds on linux fedora with alsa 1.0.0, but i've already installed gentoo and alsa 1.0.3 there is loaded this same driver and this same order of loading modules. sound is barely audible. -- greeting ghost      |
