| Hello all, I just updated postfix and portage added courier as a dependancy (courier-imap was already installed). Why? Since then authdaemond and courier-authlib (a new daemon installed by courier) seem to be conflicting. I get lots of messages saying: Cannot add provide "authdaemond", as a service with the same name already exists! What is more annoying, users cannot access their imap account anymore (normally they access via authdaemond.plain) Any hint welcome! -- Jean Magnan de Bornier 3 Cours Victor Hugo, 13980 Alleins France Tel: 08 70 39 34 03 Port: 06 09 17 35 87 e-mots: jean*at*bornier.net |

[...] OK, usual situation when you post before searching enough: sorry for the noise, but this has been explained three days ago on the gentoo forums: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.p...hlight=courier cheers -- Jean Magnan de Bornier 3 Cours Victor Hugo, 13980 Alleins France Tel: 08 70 39 34 03 Port: 06 09 17 35 87 e-mots: jean*at*bornier.net |
