Default Compile Time Figures

I have a Gentoo live 3stages cd of 1.4rc4. I'm wanting to install this on
a Pentium 133MHz with 80MB of RAM and a ~1GB HDD. I was just wondering if
anyone else has compiled Gentoo on a 486 of similar stats and how long it
would take.

If it has a fast network connection to a fast Linuxbox, I would advise using
distcc from as early as possible in the installation process. That'll speed
things up a notch!

If you have to do it with only this computer, it'll take a few days for
console-only system and about a week for an X-desktop with some apps you
need (browser, email, office, WM/DE).

I compiled on a comp of similar (Pentium 200) stats, and it took a few days
to get what I wanted: Apache, Samba, MYSQL, ALSA, etc. No X. FYI, Pentiums
aren't 486's, they are considered 586's.
