Default could grub be tweaked to boot from cd-rom?

once in a while i have to boot from cd-rom. be it for trying out new things,
or just backing up / with SystemRescueCD. beeing a lazy sack, it annoys me
to go to the bios and change boot from hd0 to cdr.

is there a way to have an extra menu in grub.conf to boot from cdr? i
checked at the grub website, but couldn't find anything 'bout this - or
didnt look hard enough
